Booking Deposits

Partial camp booking – Small Groups up to 50 persons  (the camp may be split to enable use by two groups)
 Whole of camp booking – Groups of over 50 guests $500.00

Lodge only – available only if there is no whole of camp booking                                                           no deposit

Please note that deposits need to be paid within 2 weeks or your booking will lapse.


Cancellation Policy

2 Months or more before arrival. 80% refund of deposit
Less than 2 months before arrival No refund of deposit

Groups that arrive days later or leave days earlier than booked, will have their average daily hire rate added to their account for those days.


Accommodation Costs

Overnight (106 beds available) Hire
Per person per night $20.00
Day guests per day $9.00
Linen (lodge only) per person per stay $8.00
Tent, Caravan / Motorhome per person per night (includes power, toilets & showers)




Minimum hire rate per day for whole of camp booking, where you want to hire the whole camp with less than 50 guests. (This prevents 2 groups using the camp at the same time).

There is no minimum Hire Rate for a partial camp booking (small groups using half the Camp). You just pay the per guest fee.

Day Only Groups

(Includes use of the Moeraki Block Hall, Kitchen and adjacent ablution/toilets)

Per guest per day $9.00
Minimum hire per day $400.00


Arrival and Departure Times for Overnight Groups

Arrival to be after 4pm and departure before 12 noon unless by prior arrangement with our Caretaker.

There will be an extra charge of $0.50 plus GST per person per hour for unauthorized early arrival or late departures.


Heating Costs

The Hall heat pump and the drying room require $2 coins.

Firewood. You can bring your own, or purchase it from our Caretakers at $9 per bag.


Additional Costs

Breakages other than normal wear and tear, rubbish left behind and items removed from camp, will be added to your account at cost.
